Bond is back!

Another James Bond movie is on it’s way. Quantum of Solace will be the 24th James Bond movie since Ian Fleming’s fictional secret agent first hit the big screen. Bond has been played by a number of actors most notably including Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan. Quantum of Solace will be the second film featuring Daniel Craig as agent 007.

In Quantum of Solace, Vesper, the woman Bond loved, betrays him. This leaves Bond struggling with the urge to make his next mission personal. Determined to uncover the truth, Bond and M (Judi Dench) discovers that the organization which blackmailed Vesper was far more complex and dangerous than had been imagined.

Forensic intelligence links an Mi6 traitor to a bank account in Haiti where a case of mistaken identity introduces Bond to the beautiful but feisty Camille (Olga Kurylenko), a woman who has her own vendetta. Camille leads Bond to Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric), a ruthless business man and major force within the mysterious organization.

In a minefield of treachery, murder and deceit, Bond allies with old friends in a battle to uncover the truth. As he gets closer to finding the man responsible for the betrayal of Vesper, 007 must keep one step ahead of the CIA, the terrorists and even M, to unravel Greene’s sinister plot and stop his organization.

At 1 hour and 46 minutes, Quantum of Solace is the shortest movie in the James Bond series. It’s the first Bond movie in more than a decade to clock in under 2 hours.

So, hang loose, 007 will be back soon!
